This has been a huge summer for Tottenham Hotspur defender Juan Foyth.

The 21-year-old has gone through three major events, each bigger than the other. First, his team reached the Champions League final, where Spurs were beaten by Liverpool in a damp squib affair.

After that, he donned the Argentina jersey and helped Lionel Messi and co. claim third place behind Peru and the eventual winners, Brazil at Copa America.

And now, the icing on the cake, quite literally – he just got married to his partner Ariana.

Of course, even the official Spurs account was there, and among the first ones to congratulate.

But they were soon followed by the likes of Erik Lamela, Harry Winks and others.

As for his footballing career, Foyth played a total of 17 games in all competitions during the 2018/19 campaign, scoring one goal and slowly establishing himself as a decent squad player.

The signs are there to suggest he could yet become a star, and fans will sure be hoping his marriage is a sign of the maturity they can expect to see on the field next season.
