The Yorkshire Evening Post journalist Graham Smyth has claimed that Leeds United are considering a January move for Norwegian attacker Emil Bohinen.
Jack Clarke’s return to parent club Tottenham Hotspur has seemingly opened up a spot in the squad for a new attacker.
And according to Smyth, Stabek winger Bohinen has emerged as a potential target for Marcelo Bielsa’s side, who have lost their last three matches in all competitions.
Saturday’s 1-0 defeat at Queens Park Rangers means that Leeds are still second in the Championship table but now only four points ahead of third-placed Fulham.
Smyth has claimed that the Whites are keen to bring a new wide player to the club before the January transfer window closes for business.
And The Yorkshire Evening Post have said that Bohinen was actually on trial with Sheffield United last month but the Blades decided against a move.
The 20-year-old, who has been capped by Norway’s Under-21 side, scored four goals and provided five assists in 29 league appearances for Stabek last term.
Smyth’s tweet on the subject can be seen below:
Meanwhile, a number of Leeds fans have been discussing the future of one player ahead of a potential move this summer.
