Celtic scraped past Aberdeen on Saturday with a 1-0 win courtesy of substitute Scott Sinclair, with the three points taking them above arch rivals Rangers.
Frenchman Odsonne Edouard was injured by a high Scott McKenna challenge in the first-half that went unpunished by the referee Bobby Madden and Sinclair, who hasn’t been the most popular player among Celtic fans recently, was his replacement.
However, after the game Brendan Rodgers confirmed that it was just a dead leg for the summer signing Edouard and that he had a chance of being fit for the Europa League clash against Red Bull Salzburg on Thursday.
On the weekend though, Aberdeen peppered the Celtic goal but the 29-year-old Sinclair eventually opened the scoring just after the hour-mark with a fantastically inventive backheel, whereas James Forrest struggled to get into the game.
So, Celtic fans, presuming Edouard is fit to start on the left as he did against Aberdeen, would you start Sinclair or Forrest on the right-hand side? Have your say by voting in the poll below.
