LAFC part-owner and Hollywood actor Will Ferrell took to social media with a characteristically funny, impassioned plea for fans to attend the club's upcoming CONCACAF Champions Cup match against Inter Miami at BMO Stadium.
In the video, Ferrell urges fans – in his typical comedic fashion – to attend the game against Lionel Messi's Miami and show their support for the Black and Gold.
“Ladies and gentleman, could I please have your attention. I’ve just been handed an urgent news story, and I need all of you to stop what you’re doing and listen. Los Angeles Football Club will take on Inter Miami in the CONCACAF Champions Cup quarterfinals. Frickin listen to me! This part is important!” Ferrell said. “The first leg will be played at BMO Stadium on April 2 at 8.30 pm. Your attendance is imperative! I repeat, imperative. BMO Stadium will literally be a cauldron of unrestrained soccer emotion! Be there!”
