It’s been fairly dull being a United fan the past couple of months. Hit by a number of injuries in the forward positions and midfield, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has been almost entirely reliant on Marcus Rashford and Daniel James to provide goals and assists, whilst the likes of Paul Pogba – the club’s top scorer last term with 16 to his name – and our man in question have spent time on the sidelines.
According to Statman Dave, United have won 77 per cent of their league games under their Norwegian hero when Martial has started, compared to a very bleak 29 per cent when he hasn’t.
